Happy 25 days into 2025!
January usually feels like a strangely long month—and that’s because it is! With 31 full days on the calendar, we’re given ample time to tie up loose ends from last year and set the tone for this new season. How I feel about Januarys can be summed up in this tweet:
After bouncing back from a nasty bout of the flu, I was more than happy to dive into deep work in the studio. I find that often it’s easier to stay in motion than to stand still, which is also how new energy flows into our days! When in doubt, just keep it moving. Here’s a little teaser on what I’m working on: I’m happy to share that I’ll be opening a new 2-man show early next month with my brilliant co-artist and fellow abstractionist, Markus Jentes. More details very soon! All I can say is I’m really excited about the direction of this collection.
For now, I decided to send out this newsletter a day earlier than the usual Sunday to invite you to this weekend’s Xavier Art Fest 2025! Admission is free today, January 25, and tomorrow as well. This year, a total of 54 galleries and artist spaces are participating in this highly anticipated annual fair.

My artworks are being represented by Altro Mondo Arte Contemporanea at Booth 39! For the past two years, I’ve been visiting Xavier Art Fest purely as an art appreciating guest, and it’s always been a fun and relaxed weekend experience. This 2025, it’s my first time to be shown as an artist at this fair, thanks to Altro Mondo! Here are my works featured in their catalogue:

In my studio, one of our core beliefs is that nothing is wasted—not in the creative process, not in any of my art materials, nor in life! I’m constantly in awe of how one opportunity leads into another, how one brushstroke can change an entire piece, and how fluid time can feel when you’re in flow. All it takes is one baby step in the right direction to start a whole new chain of events: Take this as your sign to go for it, whatever it is you’ve been eyeing to begin!
As for now, my steps are taking me in the direction of Xavier Art Fest! Hope to run into you there this afternoon! Admission is free, so what are you waiting for? :)
If you spot me or my artworks in person, don’t be shy come say hi <3

Starting the year so strong! Congratulations Bea ❤️
